Working Together with a Legal Document Assistant.
It requires a team effort by both the client and LDA to work together and communicate regularly. The legal process in general can sometimes be frustrating and difficult to understand especially when it comes to deadlines, court rules, and procedures that must be followed.
The LDA will work with you through the process and provide you with the necessary resources and published material that you will need to initiate and finalize your legal proceeding. The LDA will draft, review, compile, and e-mail you copies of the documents that you will need to review, approve, and sign. The LDA will work with you to help you keep track of important deadlines and timeframes of the various tasks that must be completed throughout the process.
With the client's facts and instructions, and an LDA’s experience and knowledge with preparing and filing legal documents with the court, you will not only eliminate unnecessary delays, but you will save yourself thousands in legal fees.
If your matter becomes contested, it is recommended that you immediately consult with an attorney for further assistance. We can provide you with a list of attorneys that work with our office for a consultation, court appearance, or to further represent you in your matter.
